Gradient tool

Gradients with a mask are moving when I crop the image. Not the mask, just the gradient. Any suggestions? I can rasterize the gradient but would rather not if I want to make changes later.

Are you using the gradient tool or are you using a gradient adjustment layer? A gradient adjustment layer will adjust itself based on the crop.

    Hey, @Randy354061204w8d. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll need more information to help you figure this out. Please share a video of your workflow & the system information from Photoshop Help > System Info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here. 

     

    Try changing the Gradient Mode & check if that helps:

     

     

    Does the problem exist if you use Photoshop (beta) v26.3? Get Photoshop (beta) from the Apps section > Beta Apps in the Creative Cloud desktop app.
