If I remeber correctly this is a known issue with »Export As«.
In the meantime please use the work-around of applying a Layer Mask (of the Artboard’s dimensions) to the Gradient Layer or convert it to a Smart Object.

Hi!
That is strange! Can you show us a screenshot of your window with your panels visible and the Gradent tool selected so we can see the settings in your Options bar. We need to see what you are working with. Also, what version of Photoshop are you working with? What format are you exporting to?

Could you please post screenshots taken at View > 100% with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Options Bar, …) visible?
Does the faulty result occur only when Exporting As or also when Saving a Copy?
Have you tried the work-around @Morpheus Space mentioned above?

I cant for now, i re installed version 26.4 and its working perfectly fine, where as version 26.5 has so many inssue's, 2 of them that i noticed was
1- gredient is not exporting, it exports as one color --> JPEG export
2- applying --> image --> ajustments ( any option selcted from the menue) does not work ! it applies but you cannot ajust the propreties / for example brightness and contrast --> it applies but i cannot play with it, it just says its there under the layer it self

Photoshop is currently at 26.3.0 so if you are talking about Photoshop (Beta) please do so at the correct Forum.

There's a work around that i found. instead of duplicating the layers and files, you can group your gradients and convert them as smart object and this seems to work for me.

This sounds like an issue that the Photoshop team will need to address. But, in the meantime, did you try flattening your file and then exporting? Save your file with all of your layers intact, then do a "Save As" and save it with a different file name. Then flatten the image and save out to your desired format. Do yuo still have the same issue?

Thanks for getting back to me! For some reason, it looks like flattening the image works!
I can use that as a workaround for now, but I'm curious if the Adobe team knows what's going on just in case others run into this issue.

Hey, you can also merge all the layers with alt + ctrl + shift + e hotkey. This will create a new layer from all the others in your project. This way there's no need to create another file. Works the same way.

I'm glad it works (as a work around!), and yes, by you posting your issue here in the forums, I am sure they are aware of it. Hopefully, they can figure out why it's happening and get it taken care of.

I'm having the exact same issue. I have gradient on my text (light orange to white), but when I export it, it's just white. Problem is that this file serves as a template, so I still have to be able to edit the text,... So I probably can't use the method of flattening the image, right?

@Emma22380609293l. To keep your original template intact and work non-destructively, the best way is to duplicate the file before proceeding to flatten the images.

Hi, I have the same issue ! Spent 3 days on a poster with some basic radial gradient. Evething looked fine on photoshop, when I tried to export either some were gone or misplaced. It's really frustrating

Export as what file type?
Are you flattening the image in Photoshop to ensure the gradient is stable?
