Grainy Font for no reason?

As you can see in the image below, I was using this very simple PT-Serif font on this very small ad (1000x600 px). While I was editing it on photoshop I could tell that the font appeared very grainy, but I thought it wouldn't look like that when I export the ad. Turns out the exported ad looks grainy as well. I can't see where this is coming from. Is it a font problem? Is it the document preferences?

Looks like Anti-alias is set to None.

Try another setting and see if that makes a difference.

Looks like Anti-alias is set to None.
