I need to go back to my PS 2020 because of buggy graphic processor usage for current version ( redraw ) :
turning off graphic processor usage is solving redraw problems ( see attached )
blinking of screen / guildelines not visible selection not visible trensform borders not visible / blinking.
but shuts off functions that I use .
"Disable Native Canvas"
Fixed this issue .
A bit mystic name for a function - is it doing anything good ?
Thank You and regards.

First, lets get back to a known default state, in case there are any stale settings:
Restore your preferences using this manual method. Does it work correctly?
https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually
If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.
If restoring the preferences doesn't get you back to a good state, go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and check "Disable Native Canvas" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?

It disables Photoshop from using the native Metal GPU api and forces Photoshop to use the old OpenGL api.

@Jann Lipka , can you provide a few more details about your system and the issue?
1. Grab and send along your Photoshop > Help > System Info; it will contain more information about your system that will help us diagnose the issue.
2. Is the problem happening on both the primary and secondary monitor?
3. How is the second monitor connected?
4. What kind of Mac is this? Get the 'About this Mac' info from the apple menu
Main reason I am intersted in these things is that the 'disable native canvas' workaround will go away, and we want to make sure that Photoshop works as expected with the native canvas engaged and not turned off.

@Jann Lipka , we think we have fixed some of the issues you noted above, if you re-enable the Native Canvas it should work. We'll wrap up this issue as fixed unless we hear otherwise from you; thanks!
