Graphics Card Incompatable

I keep my CPU and Photoshop up to date as a rule of thumb. With the 2 recent updates to Photoshop all of a sudden my graphics processor (AMD Radeon RX 5600 M) is no longer compatible with photoshop on my laptop that i've had and have been using photoshop on for 2.5 years. Not sure why this occuring and there is no option to check to disable/enable the use graphics processor function in the performance settings.

You can use the auto-detect tool from AMD to update the drivers for our laptop

Updating the driver is the first thing to do.

 

Is there an integrated GPU in addition? Dual graphics can conflict, that's a common problem. In that case you may need to disable the integrated GPU. See section 6 & 7 here:
