Question

Grey screen when I open Photoshop

Whenever I open photoshop, it won't open; all I see is a grey screen and sometimes an error message. This is the third time this has happened to me before this month. (I got it fixed two days ago by adobe support) My adobe software is all up to date, but this feels like a reoccurring issue I have almost weekly now, and it's driving me mad. I've done a virus scan on my computer just in case, and there's nothing. I've still got enough storage in my computer, and I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, but nothing seems to works.

Hi there,

Sorry that Photoshop on your computer running macOS does not load the interface screen and instead showing a blank grey interface.

Which version of Photoshop are you using and what is your computer's OS?

Would you mind checking out the steps mentioned in this article https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-home-screen-issues.html and let us know if that helps?

Also, please check that you are using the latest version of Photoshop v 22.1.1 from the Creative Cloud desktop app. See https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/uptodate.html

Thanks,

Akash
