Question

Grid of Light

Hi,

I need to recreate an image just like these, but the white grid needs to be on a different background. On a rainbow gradient background, possibly on top of a photographic holographic background.
So, I'm thinking I need to recreate the grid of light in white (using brushes?) looks to be several layers with some blurred out to create depth.

Or, is there a way to alter the dark blue background on these images?

Ideally I need to be able to edit the light grid too, because it might have different colours running through it.

Any help is SO appreciated on this, it's for a really important job!
Thanks so much 🙂

Or one could use High Pass, Blend-if settings and Layer Styles.

I would use the pen tool, and stroke the lines. Easier to edit that way.

Not sure I understand …

Why not use the »best« Channel, some Curves Layers and the Blend Mode »Screen«?

For the "starfield" elements, try a tutorial like this one:

You'd use the "screen" blend mode once you have the field the way you want it and mask it out.
