I am using a gtx 970 gpu. Seems like photoshop versions 22.3 and higher does not recognize the card. I tried reinstalling the drivers multiple times. Are there known issues i should be aware of with this card? Up to which version is it still supported? photoshop wont let me select Use Graphics Processor.

Error Message in preference window:

"Unkown GPU (UNKNOWN)"

Thanks for any help.

My old computer has a GTX970 and is now used by my wife.  I can't do it right now, but I'll try installing Photoshop on it when I can and let you know.   For what it is worth, I don't remember other posts with the same problem.

Is your Windows OS fully up to date?  I assume it is Windows 10?
