a la hora de guardar un archivo en photoshop que ya retoqué no me da la opción de guardar como .jpg PORQUË?

@Valeria_Ascencio2720 if you created a new layer JPGs doesn't allow you to save it as a layer, you need to flatten it first to be save as a JPG.

Use the Save a Copy option for JPEG.

You might need to check  Enable legacy "Save As"  in  Preferences > File Handling.
