Handles or bounding box

Working on a document and the handles or bounding  box that allows you to enlarge or reduce size or move is gone. Not sure what happened as I ahve vbeen using them all along.  CC2019.  How can I fix this issue, I have spent quite a while looking for a solution online and within photoshop.  Thank you for assistance.

    In the Option bar for the Move tool, be sure you have "Show Transform Controls" checked.

    Thank you.  I was not aware the transform handle could be tunre off.  dont know hwta ll the tools are on the different tool bars. Must ahve accidently turned it off.
