Having issues with opening cloud documents that were exported as local files.

My team lead when trying to recover the documents from my predecessor's adobe cloud account before closing their account somehow got a folder labeled cloud documents, full of .psdc files and a couple .xdc files. I have not been able to figure out how to open them. When I try to open the .psdc's in Photoshop I get [ Could not open "SCRUB TEST.psdc" because cloud documents that have been exported as local files cannot be opened.] I have not been able to find a way to open or import them. And I don't even know what kind of file the .xdc's are.

Please help.

Never mind. There is a desktop app called Creative Cloud Desktop, or CCD for short.  https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/download/creative-cloud

This app is used to upload PSDC and AIC files.   Figuring out how to upload and open different file types is a maze.

Hi @Sahray27409218shej sorry to hear this.

The XDC files should be capable of being opened in XD, if not please let us know.

The PSDC files need to be uploaded through CCD. This is the only app that will process PSDC files on the desktop.

Thank you,

Cory

When I try to upload a psdc file to assets.adobe.com, I get another error that the file type is not supported.
