Hello, I have an image that I want to add a pattern to. I use the paint bucket tool to do the pattern. The pattern is not my complaint. My issue is when I start to paint everything certain spots where  they meet are darker than the rest. How do I remove this? Thank you!Moulding_wenge.png

I assume both fragments are on the same layer. Choose the Spot Healing brush and, in your sample, set it to a hard brush 10px in size.

Click on one end of the line. Hold down the Shift key and click on the other end of the line.
