Help! Crop subject, white boxes appear

When cropping a subject and adding to new layer/photo, I get white boxes. How can I get resolve this issue?

Looks like a GPU glitch.  If you save the image and open it in another app, or back into Photoshop, are the white boxes gone?

 

How old is your system?  Try Preferences > Tech Preview > Older GPU Mode

Make sure your video card driver is up to date, and if Nvidea, the Studio driver tends to work better that the Game Ready driver.
