Does anyone know how to fix this?
I updated my Photoshop and when I opened it, it had this strange pink hue on the image and on the color swatch.
Please help I can't figure it out.

This is caused by a defective monitor profile.

As troubleshooting, and as a (temporary) fix, go to Control Panel > Color management.

Add the sRGB profile, and set it as default. Use Adobe RGB if you have a wide gamut monitor.

Photoshop needs to be restarted to become aware of the new profile.

If this fixes the issue, you should ideally calibrate the monitor with a hardware calibrator, which will also create and install a custom monitor profile that accurately describes your monitor.

This did not fix mine.  I still have a really light pinkish background color.  I am trying to do sublimination with an Epson ecotank ET-2800 and I cannot get the photoshop to let me do it. I'm sure I don't have the right settings, but I have not found anything on the internet to tell me exactly how to fix this problem.

@GayCarnes5341 You probably don't have the same problem. Please start a new thread and describe in more detail, with screenshots where applicable.

Generally, Color Settings is not the issue. Don't change anything there. The document profile is never the problem unless it's corrupt. When a file displays incorrectly or prints incorrectly, it's about the destination profile. Either a bad monitor profile, or an incorrect print profile.
