HELP needed again please (batching and scripting??)

New Here ,

Hi all,

after the fantastic help the last time I asked on here, I am back.

This time....

I have 262 (on this occasion) image (jpgs-but can change to any format to suit) all like image 1 , with straight edges etc. They are ALL exactly the same size 3300w x 2300h

(1).jpg

Now, what I need to do is convert them to look like image 2 below

Untitled-1.jpg

The corners have been rounded off with an offset drop shadow applied. I have created this one in C-draw 15. I am certain the same can be achieved through photoshop (I have cs6). I need to do this to all the image in the file and then save them as the same names they already are please

Any help would be greatly appreicated.

Paul

That don't look like it requires script to me… I see nothing conditional… this could be done with actions…

I think this is the same as the German say: "all roads lead to Rome".

Sometime I need to learn the English language properly, sometime …

Yes I agree it can be done with the image processor and a simple action. The action would simply flatten the image in case some may contain layers. Then the action would make the rounded rectangle path with the tool set to path mode. The path would be converted into a selection followed with a copy and paste. The added new layer would then have a layer style drop shadow added. Finally  the action would select the background layer select it all and fill it with white so there would be a place for the drop shadow to fall on.

Without sounding totally stupid (which I know I do!!) I do not know how to create the rounded corners and drop shadow effect in Photoshop (I used Coreldraw 15 to create the sample image).

Having asked several times on the Corel boards and never seeming to get a reply and having had a good deal of help from the Photoshop boards, I have decided to try and do it through Photoshop instead. 🙂

If you don't know how to do this in the Photoshop GUI… Then you have no way to record it… no way to batch it… and no way to script it… I've got a lawn that needs mowing, a car that needs washing and a sink full of pots… I give you a script FOC when ya done…
