Help! Saved files missing

Im really stuck, i save my psd files in photoshop, then i go to look at them in file explorer and there not there, i've looked up how to solve it but theres nothing! i cant seem to work it out i can open my saved files in photoshop but i cant see them in file explorer im confused

if anyone knows anything please help

Which OS you are used?
Have you try diffent Folders?
Has work before?

OS is Operating System. Since you said you are using File Explorer (not Finder), you are using Windows.

When you open one of the PSD's and try to Save As, does the dialog open in the directory where the files are stored, when I do a File > Save As it opens in the saved location of that particular file

You can also use this tool to quickly search for any files on your PC

Just type in *.psd in the search box

If you used the Everthing app, right click on the PSD and select Open Path

OK, I assume you're on Windows 10, if that's the case try turning off "Controlled Folder Access"
