I am on an Mac, on Creative Cloud, running Photoshop 2015.1 and want to upgrade at least to 2015.2. The current version of Photoshop to download in CC will not run on my machine, which I cannot upgrade to the newest Mac OS.

Is there a  way to upgrade to, if not the latest version of Photoshop, at least a newer version than 2015.1? Thank you so much for your help!

What Does the Creative Cloud desktop application show the is available? I not longer have CC 2015 version 16 Installed.  Creative Cloud Desktop shows I do have CS6 version 13,  CC 2014 version 15, CC 2018 version 19, CC2019 version 20 and Photoshop 2020 version 21.  No new update are being shown for any version.  Though  the creative cloud Desktop shows  CS6 is at version 13.0 it is actually are version 13.1.2 and CC 2014 is shown as version 15.0 its actually version 15.2.2.   Adobe Code is not bug free.

If I install version 16.0 CC 2015 I do not know what the creative desktop Application will do or show.  There is also a version CC 2015.5.  I was not happy with either version so  I removed them from my system. I also removed cc 2017 for CC 2018 was better than it.

I do not know if the updates to Creative cloud photoshop version Updates can be downloaded. The last update I have downloaded for CS6 is  for perpetual CS6 version 13.0.1.3.  I was never able to find the the Creative Cloud CS6 13.1.2 update download.

CC 2015 Updates can be doenloaded

Sorry to say I just checked the download link for 16.1.2 no longer works.

What is your OS version?

Photoshop 2020 should be able to run on macOS 10.13 and macOS 10.14. (But make sure not to remove older versions on upgrading in case there are issues with the newer version.)

Thanks for your help. I am running 10.11.4 and cannot upgrade to the most current version of Mac OS,which means I also cannot use the current version of Photoshop that is available through CC. I don't need the most recent version of Photoshop, but I DO need to use the Oil Paint plugin which is not avaialble on the Photoshop version I am running (2015.1) but IS available in the next version and onward of Photoshop.
