Good evening and Happy Christmas to everybody folks!
I need help about exporting artboards. I created a layout for the realization of a board game and the main board is spread over 8 artboards joined together.
I need that after printing the 8 files they can then be joined together to form a single table: 4 in the upper row 4 in the lower one.
What is the best export setting? I noticed that if I export everything in 8 PDF files, the white margin of the PDF document "cuts" a small part of the layout and therefore when joining them, the final table is not precise.
Do you have any advice?
Are the individual pages are meant to be where the board is scored and folded?
There are probably a few ways to do it, but I would make one larger artboard to encompass the entire job. I would also add my own crop and fold lines for the printer. (Fold lines are usually dashed.)
Again, there are a few ways to do this, but this is what I would do:

And about this "I would also add my own crop and fold lines for the printer" how would you proceed?
