Hello,

I'm wondering if someone can help me ! Let me explain what i need :

• There is a picture that i like but i need to change the background with my own light without touching the black tablet and the business cards.

I've tried to mask what i need but unfortunately i'm not able to make shadows under the business card (as you can see on the pictures).

So i don't know what to do.. 😞

WHAT I DID (As you can see, i'm not able to reproduce the shadows under the business card as it is on the original picture)

Correct answer davescm

The shadows should get softer the further away from the cards. So where the card and shadow touch the shadow is hard and at the other end very soft. A blur filter and graduated mask on the shadow layer should achieve that.

You need to blur your shadow.

If I understand correctly, you just need to soften/feather the hard edge of the shadow you created?  How did you create the new shadow?  Perhaps a screenshot of screen with the layers panel would help.
