New Here ,
Mar 14, 2023 Mar 14, 2023

Hi,
I'm working on an existing photoshop file,
And when I press control S,
He writes me a message as you can see in the attached picture.
I would appreciate it if you could help me what to do.

Then you have a permissions issue unique to your D drive - this isnt something Photoshop can resolve.

What do you mean "on a computer storage medium"? Specifically - are you saving to your local C: drive, a server, etc?

Can you move a file to your local C: Drive - try opening and saving from there?

I can do it, but I don't want to overload the C drive, so I save these works in D

Does it allow you to save your file normally while on the C: drive? Trying to determine if it is a permissions issue with the D drive specfically.

You seem to be evading answering my questions.

If you can save in C: drive normally and not in D: drive then it is a permissions issue with that specific location. Are you running as an Admin on your Windows user login?

Try going to Photoshop.exe and shift+right-click and choose "Run as Administrator" does it allow you to save your files to the D: drive then?

This is what my drives look like,
The Photoshop software file is on drive C:
The file I'm trying to save is on drive D:
I always save Photoshop files on drive D:
But after I work on them several times, the alert I posted at the beginning appears,

It seems that the file is getting heavier, so it is not saved.. I don't understand it so I don't know how to explain exactly when it appears.

Hi @YAEL4566 can you drop a file on to the C drive, open in Photoshop and then try to save back to the C drive - does that work? Not saying its the solution but it points to what may be the cause.

Did you try to run as administrator?

I tried to run as administrator, so far it didn't work,
I will try turning the computer off and on.

Hi @YAEL4566 have you tried testing using the C drive as the save location?

This is what I'm doing now.
But it is not wise to save as an additional file every time
