Help with Video Timeline GIF export

Hello!  I'm new to forums, and having a slight meltdown.  I just started using the video timeline to create a banner in order to make the transitions smoother and easier then they appear with the traditional frames way of making a GIF.  I got it to look perfect in the program, but when I export it's all jumbled up.  Super frustrating and not sure what could be wrong.  So far I love the video timeline option, but need to get it exported properly.   (I tried to teach myself the Animate program, but getting stuck there too) .   Any help (or alternative ways or programs to fade in text) would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!
