Question

Hide specific Recent Work

Is there any way to hide some thumbnail images of recent work (not all of them) ? I work a lot with clients under Non-Disclosure Agreements and need to hide specific artwork from my screen - don't want to hide all the artwork - just some of it.

Update: I just see that you only want to hide some. I don't think so. But you could put a filter on the home screen. You would simply have to name the files after the customers and then use the search field

Just uncheck the box at "Auto show the Home Screen" in Preferences

Thanks, I know about that option but was looking to see if i can hide some thumbnails or remove them after working on the images - so they do not show in the main panel while others stay there.

Usually one trick is to place an opaque layer at the top of the file using a color fill. You can hide it when working on it and perhaps color code, or use the type tool to make an identifying mark on that layer for easier identification, then save it out with the top layer's visibility set on.

You can clear Recent Files, but that deletes all thumbnails. Unfortunately you can't selectively delete thumbnails from the Home screen and any file goes back on the home screen if you open it again.
