Hiding 1 layer to hide multiple across artboards

Hi,

I have multiple artboards which are all different sizes. These also have Lorem Ispum and logo across all the artboards.

The idea is to be able to hide all Copy and Logos on all the artboards to then be able to export the artboards with just the image showing as a .JPG. Is there a way i can link up all the layers i want to hide and with hiding one layer it will hide them all? Instead of having to select all the layers and hide them all.

Thanks!

Try with Window > Layer Comps. While creating layer comps you must manually hide layers which you want to hide, at least I do not know the trick beside filtering options to filter only for type layers. Later you can apply Layer Comp to hide all type layers with a single click.

Another option is to colorize layers. Filter for particular color, select them all then press Ctrl/Cmd + , (I believe that is shortcut to hide selected layers). It is not single click but rather 3 clicks what is time saver with lots and lots of layers.

If you turn your logo/text into Smart Object and duplicate it across multiple Artboards, you can make all of them invisible in one go by temporary hiding the layer inside the Smart Object.

I dont think this will work. As the text across different artboards will be different? and they are also all different sizes aswell

You can have multiple Smart Object instances in different sizes etc so your logo would work, but if your text differs from each other then you can't do this for your text.
