I did tried ctrl-alt-shift without any results, solution what I had found are too techincal for me to able to understand it.

Thank you for your help.

I'm not sure what Ctrl+Alt+Shift without a modifier key or clicking on something might do. What were you expecting it to do?

The History brush "paints" in pixels from the selected history state in the history panel. If you create a new layer, you can only use a history state that includes that layer.

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/tool-techniques/history-brush-tool.html

By default the History panel includes 50 history states (plus the Open state) to select from. The number can be changed in Preferences.

You have two Smart Objects plus several adjustment layers. What are you trying to achieve?

To learn how this works, create a new document. Make some simple changes, such as applying filters. Then open the History panel, choose a State from the column on the left, and try painting with the History brush. Repeat.

Here is my last attempt to explain it,with video in question and some pictures. What I cannot understand that yesterday everything worked fine I had blindly followed instructions presented in the video;in the morning there is some problem with history brush.

Now I have another problem, the same image which I had used yesterday, exaclty the same, today it shows error after I try to convert it to Smart Object.(It needs to be rasterized)

I had read that ctrl-alt-shift can reset photoshop and that maybe will fix the error.I'm not into techincal thing if it does not work then it does not work.

Video in question with exact time mark of what I'm trying to achieve but I got History brush error -->  https://youtu.be/T2FGr5uqyiY?t=203

Could you please post screenshots with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, History, Options Bar, …) visible of the current state and the History State you are trying to use?

If the Layer didn’t exist in the History State you are referrencing then it can obviously not work.

What good would History Brush-ing on a Levels Layer be in this case?

What are you actually trying to achieve?

I do not know what is pertinent panel and how I can make it visible.

How about starting with the Panels I already specifically listed?

Each one of them can be shown/hidden via the Window-menu.

I'm trying create a planet using ytube video.

Are you referring to a Youtube Tutorial or are you trying to create an animation that includes some video or …?

What good would the History Brush be in this scenario?
