Home page shows recent doc from Cloud Documents

Can anybody help me please. All the sudden. the home screen PS CC 25.1 shows my recent documents from cloud docs but not from local recents. I don't use cloud documents much so it is annyoing a bit to go through the window expoler and reopen doc. I am using PC windows 10. Any help would be appreciated

    Which category is selected in the left column of the Home screen?

     

    If Home is selected, you should see local recent files. Anyone using a primarily local file workflow should leave the Home screen set to the Home category. The only reason local recents would not be shown under Home is if the list was somehow reset (For example, through a preferences reset, or by choosing file > Open Recent > Clear Recent File List).

     

     

    But if anything under the Files section is selected, including Your Files, it will list only Photoshop cloud documents and other server-based files. This has been a serious problem with the Home screen design: Nothing about it tells people that local files are only shown under Home.

    Many thanks for taking time replying to question. My Home screen is exactly as you have shown : 'home' selected with. I have now cleared the recent files in File > recent file and started all over again. Not the best solution though as I couldn’t sort out the issue.
