How can I change color for pencil tool?

I am stuck with a red color and I can't make it change?

I tried using the color picker but it isn't picking anything.

I shutdown and restarted the program and still have the same problem.

Can somebody help?

This is SUPER frustrationg.

Looks like you are in Quick Mask mode. Press the 'Q' key and then try again.
