I have been looking everywhere and I cannot figure out how to create more interesting glitter and foil textures

Here is an example: BUY 3 FOR 8 USD, Luxury cappucino digital paper pack, foil texture, glitter papers, wedding backgrou...

Specifically, I am wanting to recreate the first, third  (glitter) and fifth one (crumpled foil)

Could anyone please help?

I'm doing this off the cuff, as in making it up as I go along, so think of it as a work in progress. šŸ™‚

OK, your crumpled foil

The sharp angles are a problem, because you need the basic tonal map and none of the available fractal noise generators is going to get us close enough. I've split this layer into two halfs and used Rend clouds on the left, and render difference clouds on the right

Emboss using high settings

And Smart sharpen.  The difference clouds is closer, but still not a great match.

Going back a couple of steps, we can smooth out some of the noise with Gaussian blur.  I think this is going to spoil the difference clouds though.  Lets see

Emboss

And smart sharpen

You could just photograph the stuff yourself? Lighting will be tricky, yes, but it's not impossible even with cheap cameras or smartphones.
