I'm using the move tool and if I don't have something selected I get the usual "Could not use the move tool because no layers are selected." every time if don't have some layer selected. I have no need for this pop and it's completely annoying, obviously if nothing is selected nothing will move and I'll be able to figure that out. What I would like to know is how I can stop every single pop-up in PS, not just this one, but all of them. If someone could help I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Hi
What other pop-ups are you referring too and what version of Photoshop do you have
For the move tool issue try resetting the tools

If that doesn't help try resetting PS preferences

You can uncheck these

and also this if it's ticked

Hi Ged, I'm using 19.1.6. I tried the newest version a couple of weeks ago but I was getting some wacom errors at the time so I reverted. Im getting this error when ever I have nothing selected and try to move something, usually just due to a mis-click:

Obviously what it's telling me is correct, I do not have something selected. I would just like to never have any error pop up in photoshop no matter what the cause would be, error or no error.

I'm afraid that's not possible, errors messages are there for a reason
