How come some of my JPEG images open up with blue guide lines around them in Photoshop?

Some of the images come from Google Search, and others I've created myself. When I open them up in Photoshop, I see blue guide lines positioned around them. Why does this occur when they're JPEG files? Are these lines actually in the images themselves and will they appear when you print the images out?

...and if you want to get rid of them permanently, View > Clear Guides.

Just go to View and uncheck "Extras."

Hi there,

In addition to what has been mentioned above, you can open the images with the generic image viewer of your computer to check if the images appear there. If these are general guide lines, they would not appear in the images when you print them.
