How do I create the copyright symbol in Photoshop CS6, Windows7?  Alt+0169 does not work.

There is no Option key on my pc, and ALT + G does not work.

That's for MacOS. If you have Windows, follow the suggestions above for that platform.

That doesn't work on my PC. I am using PS CS6 and holding down the Alt button and typing 0169 doesn't do anything...am I missing something?

You have to use the numeric keypad if you have one. It doesn't work with the standard number keys.

I know this a little old, but for anyone who comes across this I found that "ALT +G" on my imac creates a copyright sign in a text layer.

Under the Custom Shape Tool is the copyright symbol.....

It should work but make sure you use the numeric keypad.

I'm working on a laptop and have no mumeric keypad.  Does Alt+0169 only work via keypad?
