How do I create this double triangle?

I am looking at creating this double triangle in Photoshop above a letter. Any thoughts on how I can create this? I am good on creating the font, just need help on the shape. Thanks!

One way:

• Draw a square/rectangle on its own layer
• Rotate 45°
• Layer Effects: two strokes, one thin and one thick, adjust in Effects panel
• Add Layer Mask and mask out center with a Rectangle
