How do I downgrade the (Free Transform) Warp Tool?

Community Beginner ,

Hello, I recently switched accounts and wanted to keep all preferences and versions the same (Ps 21.1), but I realized that the warp tool was still updated (it now doesn't display a 3x3 grid that moves the vectors more cohesively). I liked the older version more, but can't seem to figure out how to switch that. Is it a possibility and if so, how do I get the older version?

Could you please post screenshots with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Options Bar, …) visible?

What is the Grid setting?

And an aside: In Photoshop »Tools« are represented in the Toolbar, so there is no »Warp Tool« in Photoshop.

Sure! By Warp tool, I meant one of the functions in Free Transform

Strange, the Default Grid displays here.

What happens when you use a custom one with 3x3?

Is Â»Use Graphics Processor« (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) checked?

This is when I make a custom one with 3x3, it made vectors that are more independent from each other. The Â»Use Graphics Processor« is checked.

Oh I have the 21.1 version and it doesn't seem to have that gear icon on the top. Is it possible to do the same on 21.1 version without updating?

My mistake.

Does turning on »Deactivate Native Canvas« (Photoshop > Preferences > Technology Previews) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

I can't seem to find  Â»Deactivate Native Canvas« on the panel even though I have  Â»Use Graphics Processor« checked

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

Why Photoshop 21.1?

I still have Photoshop 2020 installed, too, but it is at 21.2.12

I don't think turning off Â»Use Graphics Processor« affects anything except the color of the vectors. It still acts the same way. As for the Ps version, I haven't updated it in a while so I guess it's always been at Photoshop 21.1. This is what it says on the System Info if this helps: Adobe Photoshop Version: 21.1.0 20200212.r.106 2020/02/12: 4dd027efb58 x64

Is it necessary for me to change the version to 21.2.12 for the warp function to work as it did before?
