How Do I install Photoshop CC 2021?

I currently have Photoshop CC 2020 on my Windows 10 system and it's up to date. I have been unable to find out how to upgrade to CC 2021. Will my CC 2020 be automatically updated or will I need to install the new version and if so, where do I find the download link. I can't find anything about a download on Adobe.com. Thanks.

    Try to sign out of the desktop app, then sign back in.

    Also if the new version isn't showing in the CC app, try checking for updates

    Open the Creative Cloud desktop app, and you will find the update.

    Click this icon in the taskbar to open it

     

     

    If you have a shortcut for desktop app on the desktop, it may look like this

    The only way I can access CC 2021 is to open it through the Creative Cloud
    app. I'm up to date on the updates. When I use my desktop icon for
    Photoshop it opens the older version! Maybe a glich? I have never seen a
    prompt to install CC 2021 like a friend did. I'm on Windows and he uses Mac.

    You may have this enabled in the CC preferences

    Go to this location, right click on the Photoshop.exe and select create shortcut

     


    Thanks so much. That worked !! This is the first NEW version of Photoshop CC for me. I'm used to automatic updates. It would be nice if an option for a desktop icon to be installed automatically were available. Most software that I use provides the option to create a desktop icon when installing new versions. Anyway, I'm good to go now. One problem, all of my plugins that are installed on Photoshop CC 2020 aren't showing up. I believe someone else had this problem and they are somewhere else in the the new 2021. Have to go back and read where they are.
