How do I make linked smart object work better with Dropbox.

I work directly from dropbox so that I can access my file from home and office but if I update a linked smart object from the office and try to open it from home I will have to relink the file manually. This can be very time consuming and also makes it hard for other people to interact with the files.

Would be great if there was a better integration with Dropbox. Or maybe there is and I don't know about it?

Have you considered putting the linked object in a Creative Cloud Library instead? You can collaborate with Libraries giving other members access to the content.
