HOW DO I MAKE FONTS LARGER THEN THE 72 PT.
1 Correct answer
Hi,
Even though the tool options bar or character panel only go up to 72 pt in the choices, you can have sizes larger by typing in a new size larger than 72.
You can adjust the size while the text is highlighted by holding down shift+ctrl and pressing the >key among other ways.
(Shift+Cmd on a mac)

You can add a border on the text by using Layer Styles and the stroke option.
Double click on the layer thumbnail in the layers panel to the right of the layer name and then click on the word Stroke in the layer styles dialog.
Under the Fill Type you can choose Color, Gradient or Pattern
By tilting the fonts do you mean something like below?
What version of photoshop are you using?
