How do I remove this feature from text tool?

I keep running into this issue with photoshop. Every time I try to use the text tool this prompt pops up and I cant type or edit my text till I select one of these options. I have to click one of them multiple times or even spamming enter sometimes doesn't even get it off. It takes me 3-5 times before getting access to edit my text layer. Does anyone know what this is or how to turn it off?
