Hi
After uninstalling Photoshop CC 2015.5 and installing the new CC 2017... I see all my plugins vanished and I don't see them listed in the filter menu...
how may I recover them? so they are listed inside Photoshop CC 2017?
Please, do not tell me I have to uninstall all my plugins and reinstall them again
If I go to the folder where I had the plugins in CC 2015.5
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2015.5\Plug-ins
I can see the plugins I had installed, perfectly listed there.
How we can move that to Photoshop CC 2017 ?
Cheers
I have found a solution.
When you uninstall the previous version... 2015.5 the uninstall process do not delete everything, you continue having the Plug-Ins folder
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2015.5\Plug-ins
And there you have all the plugins listed...
Normally every maker put its plugins inside a folder...
Alien Skin... all inside its folder...
Google... all inside its folder...
The only you have to do is to copy your plugins folder from...
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2015.5\

Adobe does not migrate third party plug-in. Any third party plug-in you wish to use in a version of Photoshop you must install into the Photoshop version.

But in the older version I see the Plug-Ins folder...
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2015.5\Plug-ins
And there I have all the plugins listed...
What happen if I copy what is inside this folder in the...
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2017\Plug-ins
Should it be able to see them again?

You should see them there you installed them there. However you did not install them into CC 2017. That is what you need to do if you want to use them in cc 2017.

Copy may work Adobe does not recommend that.
However I install Photoshop Plug-in into my own Photoshop Plug-ins folder when I can. Slug-ins are code in a way the will only work installed into each version of Photoshop. When I install a new version of Photoshop all I do is add a link to my tree into Phpotoshop's plug-ins folder.

I only can say, the solution I've found, works fantastic.

This worked perfectly for me. Google Nik, Topaz, Athentech and Vertus all switched over successfully and are working. Thank you!
