How do I add a border to a text?

I used to go to the layer and just right click and go to an area to change color, border, etc...  where did that go?  and how do I get to it?

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. We're here to help.

Which version of Photoshop are you using? You can add a border to the Text you typed in Photoshop in many ways. Right-click on the Type Layer and choose Blending Options from the menu. Alternatively, go to Layer > Layer Style > Stroke. In the Layer Style dialog box, select Stroke under the list of styles on the left. The options under Stroke give you complete control over the appearance of the text border.

Check this article to understand the steps in detail: https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/outline-text-photoshop/#:~:text=Right%2Dclick%20on%20the%20Type,appear....

Let us know if this helps.

Regards,

Ranjisha
