How to change the background in Adobe PS CC 2018?

This seems so simple but I'm having an impossible time finding a fast answer.  Who can point me toward a SHORT tutorial video that explains how to do this?  Thanks.

Just to clarify your question - are you trying to change the background in an image or trying to change the colour of the grey background in the Photoshop interface?

If the latter just right click it and choose the colour.

You mean the color behind your document? Right click... if you mean the background of an image, there are lots of ways.
