How to create a 3D, wrapping, ribbon of text?

Is it possible in Photoshop to make a line of text, make it 3D and then wrap it around in the 3rd dimension like a spiral (to the point where it folds over and inverts)?

To help visualise what I'm going for, it should look like something written on a long piece of paper that's curled around with the parts of the paper that haven't been written on taken out.

Figured it out. You make it into a 3D object, make the depth 0 in and then go Transform > Warp and move it around how you want
