How to create this illusion effect using displacement map

I'm trying to reproduce this kind of effect. I tried using displacement map but, not really giving the same effect. Maybe i'm not using the right filter but i need help please...

Try  Filter > Distort > Spherize.

You'll probably need to apply the filter to a 2nd striped layer.
