The picture below is what I am looking to do. I dont use photoshop very much and I looked up how to do this and miserably failed using the pen tool. 😛

Any help, guidance or tips will be much appreciated. Thank you!

@AmreshV it's quite easy to do with the Pen Tool if you create guides with snap to guides enabled, set the Pen Tool to Shape with no fill and a stroke of your preferred size.

If you're having trouble with the Pen Tool, you could make that line with different curves at the ends using a rounded rectangle, the Direct Selection Tool, and some Transforms. Here's how:

  1. Draw a rectangle using the Rectangle tool half the width of what you want the line to be when it's finished
  2. Drag one of the Live Corner Widgets (the little circles inside the corners) toward the center unti the corner is as round as you'd like (you can also set the corner in the Properties panel)
  3. Select the Direct Selection Tool (it's nested with the Path Tool or you can find it using the Discover panel -- Edit > Search)
  4. Drag a selection around the upper 2 corners and Delete
  5. Select the last anchor point on the far right and Delete
  6. Use the Path Selection Tool to select the shape with the curve on the left and no curve on the right
  7. Duplicate the layer (New > Layer > Shape Layer via Copy)
  8. Use Free Transform (Ctrl + T, Windows or Command + T, macOS) to flip it vertically and again horizontally (if you have the Contextual Task Bar open, you can click on the flip icons)
  9.  Move the flipped shape so that it connects with the left half (you can nudge with the arrow keys, Shift nudge will make it move a bit more, and/or align with Smart Guides)

Thank you @Ged_Traynor . Wow! I am going try this a bit later in the day. There is a learning curve for me for the steps you have in your post so I will look them up and hopefully make it :).
