How to disable Brush menu pop-up?

How do I disable the brush menu pop up and remove it from right clicking?

In 6 or 7 years I've never used it and in 6-7 years, every single day it has been an annoyance randomly popping up and I finally realized it was because it is set to right mouse click and that button is right under my finger when I'm using the pen tool and gets accidentally tapped ALL the time popping up that menu and sometimes randomly clicking some brush option on there or rearranging things that SHOULD have a lock option after all these years with all the requests for it to prevent saved brushes from being moved around, because I'm actively tapping the photo using the brush and it thinks I am wanting to click something on that pop up window which is 99.999999% useless for me.

It's not a tablet option either, I seen other posts responding with that answer, I can literally right click my mouse and that is the exact issue.  It needs to be removed from right click.

I can't find it in the keyboard layout because it does not show any mouse hotkey options on it.

I don't think there is any way to disable that menu. AFAIK it's hard wired.  The best you could do is minimise its size.

So do you prefer to use the Brushes panel?

You can use different settings (options) in the two menus, if that helps?  The right click has Hardness slider and preset rotation indicator.  I like to rotate with the cursor keys, but I find it useful knowing how it is set.

I'm sorry we can't be more help, but all I can tell you is that I, personally, would be lost without it.

Your best ioption would be to start a new thread and mark it an Idea.  Keep it simple and easy to read, and ask that an option be added to preferences to disable it.  You would be hoping to get some 'me too' posts added, and maybe bump the thread a couple of times if it falls back several pages with nop replies.

I use the brush panel that I have bound to the right of my screen in a vertical tab.....the pop up that keeps being shoved in my face in the middle of the screen that makes me accidentally click something is one of the most annoying things in photoshop.  Needs to be disabled or give us a way to disable it.   There really shouldn't be 3 different windows for that exact same menu
