Hey,

I'm pretty new to the animation tab, my animation is 16 frame long, but everytime I create a new layer, the layer its 150 frames so I have to resize the work area everytime... is there a way to lock the work area or to make new layers a 1 frame long?

Thanks

Hi there,

Not sure if I understand the issue correctly, would you mind sharing a video or some screenshots? That might help us review the issue properly.

Also, please state the version of Photoshop and the operating system you're working with.

Hi,

I'm using 22.4.2, I set the limit to 16, the line under the frame numbers gets darker after the 16, so I understand it is set correctly. But then when I create a new layer, it is 150 frames long and the length of my animation get ajusted with that.

I found out that I can right click on the blue part to trim, which makes the process a little easier than going on the 3 lines but still would be great if I could set the new layers to be only 1 frame by default on my animation timeline.
