How to flip 3D object within the 3D scene?

I have imported a .3DS file of a model of plaster corner decoration into CS6 and want to have a symmetrical mirorred copy of it in the same scene. Don't need to rotate it in order to show its rear, because I need only its front side to be shown. Changing its dimensions doesn't allow to define a negative value (like I'd done with the ordinary image): 0.1% is the smallest allowed value.

Can't find info in helps or manuals. Trying to find it in CS6 interface, but nothing like that.

There is no mesh control to do that in Photoshop.

You will need to take the model to a 3D program. For example open it in Blender and use Transform Mirror

Thanks, Dave!

For me It's very strange that I can't add a minus to an object dimensions. I assumed that there's no difference between transforming and flipping at all.

I would love to see more mesh control in Photoshop but at the moment there are some operations that either need (as this example shows), or are just easier using, a 3D application.

You can always bring the output back to Photoshop for compositing and blending with 2D elements.
