How to install Picture Package

Hi all,

So I wanted to install the "Picture Package" plugin.  Went to:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/print-photos-picture-package-layout.html

and then downloaded.  Well..........

How do I actually "install" it?!  All it does is give me a ZIP file, and even after unzipping, it's just a few files and a folder.  No installer, nothing.

I have Photoshop 2024 on Windows 11.

Thanks!

Thanks Jeff, I was expecting the old legacy plug-ins:

https://helpx.adobe.com/content/dam/help/en/photoshop/kb/optional-file-format-plugins/jcr_content/root/content/flex/items/position/position-par/procedure_copy/proc_par/step_1/step_par/download_section_105/download-1/Optional_Plug-Ins_Release_Win64.zip

And now that I just checked, Picture Package isn't in there anyway!

The link in the OP is incorrect.

Unfortunately, Adobe does not read these boards or listen to what the customers want. I think we are just stuck. There are services out there that will do this for you. Outsourcing is another way of upgrading your work flow. Just a thought. Mark

Hi Mark,

I completely understand your frustration, and I’m sorry you’re having this experience. Just to clarify, this functionality is offered through a third-party plugin, so we have limited control over its availability. You can try downloading it here: [Plugin Download Link].

Please give it a try and let us know how it goes. You can also share your feedback directly on the plugin page, it goes straight to the creator.

Regards,

Srishti

I'm so glad my PScs6 still works on my windows 7 laptop. my windows 11 and the new photoshop wont do this. I don't need silly codes.

The legacy Picture Package plugin that Adobe Help refers to doesn't work in photoshop versions after the perpetual photoshop cs6 version on the windows side and photoshop cs5 on the mac side.

The one you downloaded from the Adobe Creative Cloud plugins is a little different, but still might serve your purpose.

It can be found in Photoshop under Plugins>Picture Package.

2024

So do I just copy the unzipped files/folders into the plugin folders and launch PS?  Is that all it is?  No actual "installation"?

Yes, that is the installation (you only need to install the plugin file/s to one of the folders).
