Hello guys.

I'm Photoshop beginner, I want help with this photo

Create a new layer.

Use the Marquee tool to draw a rectangle shape and then fill it with white using the Pant Bucket tool.  See screenshots. 

Double click the layer to open the Layer Style panel. 

Click on Gradient Overlay. 

Give it a Black & White linear gradient with about 30% opacity and an angle of 90%.  Hit OK.
