Hi Divyansh,

We're sorry about the trouble while trying to open the files from Photoshop 2020 in Photoshop 2019. Is you friend getting an error when trying to open the PSD files? Are you saving the PSD files with the option for Maximum compatibility enabled?

You can enable the option permanently by going to the Preferences for Photoshop, then File Handling and select Always from the drop down for Maximize PSD and PSB compatibility.

Once you have made the changes, quit and relaunch Photoshop for the changes to take affect. Then open the old PSD files and save them as PSD files again.

Let us know if it helps!

Regards,

Nikunj

Can you attach one of the PSDs so we can look at it?
