I have:
- Adobe Creative Suite 5 Master Collection Student and Teacher Edition
- Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3 Student and Teacher Edition

I bought in 2010 and my computer has started to act up. I now have to uninstall and reinstall these programs, but unfortunately I don't have the box with the serial number on it anymore and Adobe said they can't help, it's too old. Can anyone help me find a way to reinstall without having to buy it again?

thank you for your help.

Hi!

If you registered your software with Adobe, then they have a record of your serial number. Check out the following ariticles to see if either of these will answer your question:

https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/find-serial-number.html

Let us know if these help!

For the perpetual versions of the software, it was perfectly legal to continue using it after leaving school. There was never a restriction that required the no-longer-student to stop using the software they had purchased.

I was talking about now. There were restrictions on resale or sharing software. to non-student. Not sure it applies now anyways as this is so old. Without the licensed serial number, I doubt there is much they can do.

Short answer - unfortunately you'll need to upgrade.

Long answer - 1. without the serial numbers it wont run.  2. This is a student/teacher edition. If you are no longer a student it's not legal to run without paying for the upgrade to professional. If you are a teacher, I would look into upgrading.
