after updating Photoshop CC from 2015 to 2017 two weeks ago I experienced some of tools freezing.....I then uninstalled my recently downloaded 2017 version and was unable to download Photoshop CC 2017 again....what am I doing wrong??

How are you trying to reinstall? You need to use the Application Manager. Go to the Apps tab, find Photoshop and click on Install. is that what you are doing?

the cloud icon has disappeared on the top header of my browser....do you know how I can get it back....Jod

Try running the CC Cleaner before re-installing. It is designed to help where problems from an old installation are causing issues with installing a new.

I had the same issue, went to support and let them take control. The Chat person downloaded an app to fix a partial uninstall, some files had remained that were not even found by Revo. then installed and working now. The whole proces took a few minutes plus download time.

Good luck. I've been waiting over 1 hour and this is my second attempt to reach them. The first time, I gave up after 1 1/2 hours.
I've got my phone tied up. I cannot type with PS CC 2018. I'm wasting my time and will get no compensation from Adobe for this time.
I tried to use CreativeCloudCleaner, but this is a bit frightening. It's all so very complicated.
I've gotten nowhere all day today!

Same this happened to my friend. After trying to install Avast it deleted half of his PC software and left some corrupted file.
Now he can't install Photoshop CC nor Adobe cleaner works. Adobe cleaner show nothing found. bla bla bla
so you are hopeless as me.
